We don’t know why the FBI is here. They showed up at our door without any warning, and we have no idea what they want from us. All we see is a black SUV parked in front of our house with two men inside wearing dark sunglasses and hats that cover their faces. We’re really scared right now, because this could be something bad happening to us or someone close to us. The only thing we can do is wait for them to leave before going back inside and trying to figure out what happened today.
There are still a lot of questions remaining. Why did they show up at our door? What do they want from us? Did we somehow get involved in something dangerous without realising it and now the FBI is here to make sure that what happened doesn’t happen again or hurt someone else? Is this because of something bad happening in a different state, like one of those mass shootings that occurred recently, and were just unlucky enough for them to come by as soon as it happened? Or could there be some other reason that’s even worse than any scenario we’ve thought about so far sitting on the horizon waiting to hit us when we least expect it.
