You’re the best friend because we share so many memories together, like eating ice cream in my living room at 2 am for no reason other than it sounded like an awesome idea at that moment.
Now, I want to be that kind of friend for you. “You’re the best friend because you’re always there when I need a shoulder to cry on.” That’s how my blog post starts and ends! It reflects exactly what it means to me to have friends who are there for each other in good times and bad. Sometimes, all we need is someone here with us so our tears don’t feel alone. We can help each other grieve together or celebrate joys together – like eating ice cream at two am- without having any fear or reservations about judgment. Friends should lift one another up during hard times as well as easy times: even if they never say anything but just being present beside them would make everything better somehow; and that’s what I want to be for you.
I think one of the reasons we stay friends is because it doesn’t seem like they’re going anywhere, even when things are tough or hard times hit. It’s always nice to know someone has your back and will never leave you no matter how many fights there are with finals coming up- but honestly, my favorite part about our friendship is just seeing them at school everyday; knowing that their presence in my life makes me feel happy on good days and bad alike. Friendships can make us stronger than ever before: through laughter, pain and ice cream induced late night conversations over Skype!
