This idea that there’s only one self in each world is called “solipsism.” ~~Blah blah blah~~ I’m sorry to say this but I don’t have all the explanations for you in my head right now, though after some time traveling through Castle Oblivion (ahem), I’ll be able to recall it again. The truth is that Roxas looks like Ventus because they are both Sora’s Nobody. This means that his appearance and memories were copied from the original Sora, but with one difference: he has a different set of clothes! They’re white instead of black–even though this doesn’t really make any sense for someone who just rose to power as the Keyblade Master. ~~Blah blah blah~~
He used to look more like Ven by wearing all-black clothing (except when he was pretending to be Terra). When you think about it for a second, maybe in order to avoid confusion between him and Aqua or Vanitas, Disney decided to change how Roxas dressed so there wouldIn Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora and Roxas are reunited again after over 10 years apart. But what’s interesting is that Roxas looks like Ventus but has different hair color! Why does this happen? In the game, there are many worlds and dimensions. They’re all connected to each other somehow with portals or folds in time or space.. I’ll explain more about that later on in the post.
The portals can change someone’s appearance when they enter a world. They’ll come out looking different from the way they were before entering it! This is what happened to Roxas, I think he entered Ventus’ old home, Castle Oblivion and was changed by that experience into his current form. Just like Sora in Chain of Memories..
