This is the third book by the author of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The first two books were The Life Before Him and The Hunchback of Notre Dame and are the same book in every sense but the ending. The Hunchback is about a man who is obsessed with his own mortality. All he wants is to be able to live forever but he can’t, so he decides to set out on a journey of self-discovery.
