I love that you said that I’m the most descriptive essay person on the planet because I truly think that’s true. And I think it’s because I have a lot of experience writing descriptive essays. This past semester, I took six different, class-based writing courses and spent six weeks writing the descriptive essay each semester.
While I know that this may be true, I do think it’s more of an indication of how much I enjoy descriptive essays rather than anything. I guess because of it being a class assignment, I have a lot more experience with them. They tend to be so much fun to write than the essays that I write in school.
I have to be honest with you, I never really thought of descriptive essays as an especially fun assignment. I tend to think that writing a descriptive essay is like writing a review, or reviewing your favorite place in a restaurant. I think that when I write them I use them to write down things I want to share with friends. It might sound weird, but I feel like once you write them, they become a part of your vocabulary.
I could probably say what I type in the description, but I think it’s worth pointing out that the descriptive essay is the opposite of a “review” in that it is not about reviewing something. They are really about writing about what it is that you like most about a place. It sounds odd, but I think that the descriptive essay is less a review than it is a description.
I’ve been using descriptive essays since I was in the seventh grade, and I have never had a more accurate description of a place. They may not be about telling me what the place is, but they are always a description of what the place is. It is so much fun to write a descriptive essay about a place, especially when I’m in a room alone.
Describing a place is a wonderful way to remember a place. We always have to keep our minds open to the possibilities of what the descriptive essay might be a little bit more descriptive that the review. Often a descriptive essay will describe the place in very broad terms, and then in a review I will have to add a little bit more detail.
For example, I can look back on my time in Paris and remember the most common things that I wanted to do, but not enough to actually get anywhere. On the other hand a descriptive essay will be more detailed, and will describe the places that I wanted to go to. Then I could write a review that focuses on those places.
A descriptive essay is more detailed, because you can describe the things that I wanted to do. A review is more detailed, because I can describe the places that I wanted to see.
Descriptive essays and reviews are two different things. The first is a more academic piece, the second, a more entertaining one. The more academic piece is much more detailed because it describes the places that I wanted to go. The more entertaining piece is one that I can describe and review.
Another reason descriptive essays are more popular is due to their popularity with college students. I myself did one one after my freshman year of college, and it was my favorite part of writing. The essay described my favorite place I went to every single year I was there. So, I took that as a sign that a descriptive essay is a good way to describe a place or a time.
