The dish has a lot of depth to it. It is very simple to make, but it packs a lot of flavor. I like it best when you take the seasonings, vegetables, and spices (in this case, soy sauce, wasabi, soy sauce paste, and ginger) separately but combined together. The result is a dish that has a strong, complex flavor which is unique and different from other dishes I make.

The name doesn’t actually mean anything, it’s just one of those words that’s so common you might not know what makes it special. The dish is not particularly spicy, and the spicy spices are usually added to make the spicy flavors more noticeable. For me, the added spice is also a big part of the dish’s flavor because it’s the only thing that really adds any real depth.
The dish is popular in parts of the Philippines and Java. It’s a kind of rice dish with a lot of meat (think chicken, beef, or fish), a lot of chili, and a bunch of other things. When I ate my first fried rice I was like… “OH MY GOD! This is going to be so addicting!” The fried rice is definitely addictive, and I am not sure just how much it makes my cravings for it. Maybe I should just never eat it again.
It could be argued that we should eat it to make it taste better and we could also argue that we should just not get it because it’s so bad that it makes you want to just bite the head off of a stick. I’m not sure I’ve ever had fried rice before, but it doesn’t seem to be a dish I’ve ever really tried or enjoyed. But I think I have a good handle on how bad it is though.
