I’ve been involved in a few projects like this lately and I have to say, it has been really exciting. I was in a group called “The Three Levels of Self-Awareness” where we talked about our own personal journeys, and how we are affected by others’ journeys, our journeys of our own, and our own journeys of others. It was fun and inspiring and I loved the fact that we talked about how these things affect us individually.
I know I’ve said this before but I really think about it in terms of a journey. In my life, I’ve been a teacher, a therapist, a mom, an entrepreneur, and I’ve worked in the tech industry. My journey has been about taking care of myself first and foremost, then taking care of others.
These three things are pretty obvious. Ive been a writer, a musician, an architect, and Ive been a teacher. Ive been a counselor, a counselor of sorts, a counselor of sorts. Ive been a painter, a sculptor, and, like my life, I’ve been a teacher. One thing that is clear to me is that a person with the right kind of self-assurance, honesty, and compassion can make a difference in their life.
