I’m going to make some predictions about skate shoes in 2022. In the coming decade, I think we’re going to see a continuation of these trends:
-More advanced technology will be used in skating and shoe design.
-Skateboarding as a sport will continue its growth and popularity worldwide.
-More companies will start making “skate shoes” that are actually skateboard decks with rubber on them (just like Penny boards). These types of shoes will become more popular because they’ll be cheaper than actual skate sneakers.”
Shoe Companies in 2022:
-Some of the new shoe companies that are coming out now will continue to be successful, and some will fall by the wayside. I think we’ll see more small brands emerge as competition for established design houses like Nike and Adidas. In addition, there will likely be a lot more “off-brands” popping up on ebay or alibaba selling shoes manufactured at lower quality with cheaper materials.”
-Skateboarders might start their own lines of skate sneakers (similar to Nyjah’s brand). These types of brands would have an advantage because they can make exactly what skaters want without having any outside pressures from investors or shareholders.”
-A shift towards vegan shoemaking will occur.
-There will be a lot more collaborations between brands, especially in the tech space.”
“In terms of innovation: I don’t think we’re going to see any new technology or features that drastically change how skateboarding shoes are designed and manufactured for at least another decade.”
“We currently live in an era where most successful skaters have their own shoe line (or multiple lines), and other companies producing sneakers seem to only care about basketball players. It’s unclear whether this trend is sustainable given the current climate with sneakerheads who want limited releases and hard-to-find colorways from Nike on one side, versus people who just wear Vans every single day without ever trying anything else because
– The Best Skate Shoes of 2022 will be made from sustainable materials like hemp or bamboo
– They’ll come in a variety of colors, with more options for kids and teens
– A new trend is the skate shoe that bends to allow you to wear it casually without tying your shoelaces; these shoes look just as good off the board.
– New versions of old favorites are coming out every year: Blazer’s first pro model was released last summer, Metal Mulisha update their signature shoes yearly, Etnies has been making retro models since 2011. There will always be something fresh on store shelves. – What do you think? Share your predictions about what we’ll see in best skate shoes in 2022.

The Future of Best Skate Shoes In 2020 – Part Two: What Will They Look Like? Written by Angela White on May 04th 2017 In this article, I look ahead into the future with my nine best predictions for how skating will change over the next ten years.
First, I’ll mention what we all know about the skate shoe industry today: that it’s much different than it was in 1990s or 200s when there were few brands and basic products on offer to consumers. Today, you can find many popular styles of shoes with a wide range of features catering to everyone from beginners to professional athletes. It also means they’re among some of the most expensive footwear around – but then again, these are high-quality performance trainers designed for hardcore sports enthusiasts! So let’s take a look at my nine predictions and see how your skating life may be changing by 2022.. *An example paragraph* Second prediction: Skateboarders will replace traditional sneakers as the go-to footwear for the general public.
This is a long-form content with more than 100 words, so it’s possible to break the text into a few paragraphs or sections. Imagine that you have read this paragraph and want to know how skateboarders will replace traditional sneakers as go-to shoes by 2022: Second prediction: Skateboarders will replace traditional sneakers as the go-to footwear for the general public. This means less emphasis on brands like Nike or Adidas – but an increase in popularity of smaller companies producing higher quality products tailored specifically towards skaters such as Vans or Lakai (and not just cheaper low quality knockoffs). The large majority of people who don’t skate still wear regular tennis shoes every day without hesitation. If they are convinced to give skateboard shoes a try, the change will be more dramatic than if you had just worn them for casual wear.
Third prediction: Skateboarding is only going to become bigger and better with time as it becomes accepted by mainstream society. It’s not clear what year this actually starts happening – but I can’t see it ever stopping or returning back down after 2022 at some point in the future. More people are skating every day which means there will always be new skaters coming into our community and looking for high quality products that match their skill level, style preference, and budget.”
Fourth prediction: The rise of minimalism in footwear design leads many brands to focus entirely on either comfort (and that means comfort for all types of feet) or performance (ie. footwear which is lighter, offers better grip and traction, etc.). In order to distinguish themselves in the market place, brands focus on creating products with a unique look – especially when it comes to skate shoes.”
Fifth prediction: The rise of fashion-savvy teenagers and 20 somethings who want their skater gear to match the latest trends. They’re less likely than previous generations to wear traditional sports uniforms like Nike’s Air Jordan line because they now have other clothing options available at cheaper prices.”
Sixth prediction: A decline in historical accuracy within our community as more people are trying out new styles and designs from different eras without really understanding what made that era distinct. Skate shoes will no longer be tied to a specific time period like the late 1970s or early 200s.”
Seventh prediction: A larger variety of skate shoe brands and styles available in 2022 than we have today. This is partly due to an increase in demand for custom-made, personalized footwear options that can’t be found at your neighborhood sporting goods store because they are tailored specifically to individual preferences instead of just being ‘one size fits all’. Brands who want to distinguish themselves from competitors will create new niche markets by offering their own unique designs.”
Eighth prediction: Given how quickly trends come and go these days, it’s likely that there won’t be as much nostalgia around our favorite skater gear in 2022. Just like with our favorite songs, we’ll be more likely to look back on the 90s as a simpler time in which skate shoes were pretty straightforward.” Ninth prediction: The current trend of customization will continue into 2022 and beyond, leading to ever-increasing combinations of colors, designs, materials, shapes and sizes for skater gear. Skate shoe designers are already taking note that kids want their own unique style from brands they can call their own – something less uniform or ‘cookie cutter’ than what you might find at your local store.” Tenth prediction: With all these predictions about changes in footwear styles over the next decade it is hard not to wonder if the traditional Vans slip-on sneakers will
