We’ve all read and heard how we should “be” more aware of our surroundings. We should walk more, stop for a smoke, use our cell phone less, wear the right clothes, and even have a designated time to spend with our family. We could all get away with a lot of this, but would we? The fact is, that we are all so busy with our lives that we forget to pause and consider what we’re doing.
I think this is one of those things that is hard to do, because it is not something that we can really change. Things that we would like to be more conscious about, we’re too busy with our lives. These things, in fact, are not going to change until we stop doing them in the first place. So we can’t change our behavior, and we can’t change our surroundings, but we can change ourselves and our surroundings.
One of the biggest mistakes that people make is to think they can change the environment around them (i.e. their day, their surroundings, their bodies) in order to change themselves. But this is a huge mistake because if we really want to change ourselves, we need to start by changing the things that we are comfortable with. If we don’t change our surroundings to fit ourselves, we are going to be uncomfortable.
When we begin to look at ourselves as the “whole,” we begin to see the bigger picture more clearly. We are not the sum of our parts. We are not the sum of our actions, our thoughts, or our clothes. The key to living a happy life is to be comfortable with yourself and with your surroundings. In other words, we would all be way happier if we were comfortable with ourselves as we were.
I think we are often looking at our selves as the sum of our parts. We think about how great we feel about our physical appearance and the way we look, but are we? Is it really that important to be the best version of ourselves we can be? There are lots of ways to make a positive impact on our surroundings and it takes hard work and dedication to do so.
We look at our selves as the sum of our parts. But the things that surround us can also affect how we feel about ourselves. For example, when you are young, you have little to no self-awareness, but as you get older you begin to have a greater sense of self-awareness. I know this because I remember how it felt when I first woke up one morning and didn’t know who I was. I’d been on Deathloop for almost a year.
It’s not a bad thing to have your own unique personality so that you can have a more sense of your own body. If you go to school, you will have the same sense of self-awareness as you do.
The whole concept of self-awareness sounds so nice and all, but all it really does is remind you that you are just another human being with a set of thoughts and feelings. What it really does is remind you that we are all flawed. That we are all human beings, and that our thoughts and feelings are just as human as anyone else’s.
There are many things that I do that don’t seem to work, and some of them seem to be super easy to use. Some seem to feel good, some seem to feel bad, and some seem to be totally stupid. I don’t feel like myself when I’m trying to make a choice or a good decision. I feel like what’s wrong with me is not that I’m bad, it’s that I feel like I’m making choices.
Corinna, a character in the game, feels like she is a person with a personality disorder. She has no idea what she is doing, and she has no idea why she’s doing it. She also has no idea that she is hurting herself. She just wants to do it, and feels terrible about it.
